Carol Ann Cartaxo is an Artist who works internationally in Graphic Design and Illustration.

 

A motivated and enthusiastic individual with a zest for life and a positive outlook.  studied Graphic Design, Audio Visual Design and Production, Photography, Video in Education and Desktop publishing in the UK at West Sussex College of Art and Design, Birmingham University and Southend on Sea College of Technology. Worked in the field of Graphic Design working in London and the South East producing all aspects of material for advertising, printing, exhibitions, photography and audiovisual design and production, voice-overs, and book illustrations.

 

She Lectured in Audio Visual Design and Production, Photography, and Illustration at Southampton College of Technology (now part of Southhampton University) in the UK. 

Has won many awards for paintings and illustrations and commendations for short films in the UK, over the years. You will also find a design as a tiled wall (12m x 8m) in a world-renowned company in the main entrance of their offices in Bangkok.

 

She lived in Spain for many years and now lives in Portugal.

 

In 2015  she created and published a series of books and for © Libby Pink Books  books for younger children with her hand-drawn watercolour illustrations to catch the child's imagination.
